  • As per AAPC’s resolution on 12 September 2023, apart from renewal of existing E2 labels, no new applications for E2 labels will be accepted from Label Year (2023/24) onwards.

• Resident undergraduates on special and compassionate grounds, as recommended by the Office of Student Affairs or the College Deans of Students’ Office and approved by AAC
  • Vehicles registered in name of label holder/spouse/close family member
  • Parking other than Cat. I carparks and those designated
  • Overnight parking is permitted in the area of hostel

• Non-resident undergraduates/postgraduates holding a proof of disability from Government and a valid driving licence
• Non-resident undergraduates on special and compassionate grounds, as recommended by the Office of Student Affairs or the College Deans of Students’ Office and approved by AAC
  • Vehicles registered in name of label holder/spouse/close family member
  • Parking other than Cat. I carparks and those designated
  • No overnight parking on campus

• Campus based contractors/organisations as approved by the University
  • Parking other than Cat. I carparks and those designated

• Current office bearers of Alumni Associations
• Honorary/Adjunct teaching staff
• Honorary Senior Fellow/Honorary Research Fellows
• Retired full-time appointees who have served the University for 10 years or more consecutively before retirement
  • Label S is entitled to free parking on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays only
  • Vehicles registered in name of label holder/spouse
  • Parking other than Cat. I carparks and those designated
  • No overnight parking on campus

• Resident postgraduates holding valid driving licence and must drive himself/herself
  • With exceptional justifications (e.g. secondary duty as a College Resident Tutor provided with a hostel room)
  • Vehicles registered in name of label holder/spouse/close family member
  • Label B is levied at HK$1,000 for 6 months
  • Parking other than Cat. I carparks and those designated
  • Overnight parking is permitted in the area of hostel

• Contractors/organisations as approved by the University
  • Label D is levied at HK$1,200 for 6 months
  • Parking other than Cat. I carparks and those designated
  • Overnight parking is permitted at designated locations

  • Label DD is levied at HK$1,200 for 6 months
  • Label DM is levied at HK$300 for 1 month

  • A maximum of two Limited Time Free Parking Coupons can be used for the same visit
  • Overnight parking is not permitted for visitors (except guest vehicles parking at the car park outside University Guest House and visitor vehicles within the area of residence)
  • Qualified part-time appointees can obtain through Units/Departments an appropriate number of Limited Time Free Parking Coupons
  • The Alumni Affairs Office is responsible for distributing Limited Time Free Parking Coupons to current office bearers of Alumni Associations (each for up to 40 coupons each year)
  • Faculties/Departments/residents may issue Limited Time Free Parking Coupons to visitors
  • All units authorized to issue Limited Time Free Parking Coupons must complete the Coupons Usage Record sheets provided by the Security Office for audit purposes

• Postgraduates/part-time students recommended by Heads of Department/Unit
  • May buy an appropriate number of Pre-paid Parking Coupons ($20 each for parking up to 5 hours)
  • About 20% more than the total number of teaching days on campus in the current term
  • No more than two coupons can be used for the same visit
  • No overnight parking is permitted
